PRODUCTION INTERN

Paris, France

Ordinary Lights is an international franco-anglophone creative agency based in Paris specializing in video production and motion design. We put teamwork, creativity and dynamism at the heart of our work. We are looking for a versatile production intern to support our creative project managers and office manager on our various projects. This role is both creative and administrative, ranging from helping create storyboards, going on set, prepping gear, doing transcriptions, running errands, and overseeing the wellbeing of the office.

Responsibilities:

  • General organization
  • Scheduling
  • Translation
  • Creative problem solving
  • Script writing
  • Storyboarding
  • Attending creative meetings
  • Production assistance on shoots
  • Monitoring edits and post production workflow

 

Qualifications and Desired skills:

  • Good organizational and execution skills
  • Flexibility, ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks at once
  • Creativity, innovation with an aesthetic sense
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Enjoy working as a team member as well as independently

pOST-PRODUCTION INTERN

Paris, France

Ordinary Lights is an international franco-anglophone creative agency based in Paris specializing in video production and motion design. We put teamwork, creativity and dynamism at the heart of our work. We are looking for a versatile post-production intern to support our Post-Production Manager. Applicants must have previous experience and is familiar with editing softwares Final Cut Pro 7, Premiere Pro and visual effect software After Effects. The preferred individual will be interested in learning more about these softwares and developing their editing skills further. Increased creative responsibility can evolve within this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of Post-Production workflow
  • De-rush shoots
  • Transcoding and transcribing videos 
  • Selecting sound bites and images for edit
  • Pre-edit
  • Creating titles 
  • Exporting numerous different versions of videos
  • Correspondence with clients
  • Working in liaison with production manager and editor on each project
  • Refining and perfecting rough cuts
